Badger Balm Active Mineral Sunscreen Cream 30

tube of 30 SPF sunscreen

Natural, organic sunscreen.

Easy, Breezy

I’ve been using Badger Balm’s Active Mineral Sunscreen Cream with 30 SPF while I explore Sweden, and so far I really like it.

I’m not great about remembering to use sunscreen, so it helps me that this cream is quite thick and easy to apply. I only need a dab to cover my nose and cheeks, and my skin absorbs it quickly. I don’t always put sunscreen on my arms and legs because I often wear long-sleeve sun shirts and knee-length shorts. Still, I should cover all exposed skin.

I love that the Badger Balm Active Mineral Sunscreen Cream with 30 SPF feels quite flat, never greasy or gunky. I tend to go outside for only one or two hours at a time, so one application is all I need. The squeeze bottle is not that large if I need to stash it in a pocket or in my hip pack and take it with me. At 2.9 fluid ounces (87 ml), the bottle is just under the line as TSA-friendly. I really appreciate the size because I can’t stand having to transfer my personal products into little travel sized containers. I never know what’s in them!

Mineral Barrier

Badger’s Active Mineral Sunscreen Cream with 30 SPF provides protection from UVA and UVB rays using minerals, not chemicals. The cream contains uncoated Zinc Oxide that blocks harmful UV rays. The formula that is reef-friendly and cruelty-free.

I’m very particular about what I put on my skin because I’m chemically sensitive. Badger products are ideal for me because they are made out of natural and almost entirely organic (98%) ingredients. The Badger Active Mineral Sunscreen Cream 30 is unscented, and I could not discern any smell from the cream.

The cream is water resistant for up to 40 minutes, which is ideal for me because I literally swim for 30 minutes. (Check out our review of Badger Balm’s 40 SPF Sports Mineral Sunscreen.)
