Badger Balm Sport Mineral Sunscreen Cream 40

Natural, water-resistant sun protection

Strong Protection

When I’m going to be out in the sun for a few hours, whether I’m walking, hiking, riding my bike, or swimming in the lake, I use Badger Balm’s Sport Mineral Sunscreen Cream.

It provides broad spectrum SPF of 40, and it’s water-resistant for up to 80 minutes. I have been using it for a variety of outdoor activities while I explore Sweden, and it has prevented me from getting sunburned. Yes, in Sweden. It’s been a sunny, hot August and September.

My main mode of transportation here is a bike, so I am spending more time outdoors than usual. I’m also sweating more, so I need a sunscreen that can stay on my skin even when I’m damp!

Easy to Apply

Badger Balm’s Sport Mineral Sunscreen Cream 40 is thick and easy to apply. I put some on my hands, and rub it into my face and on my arms, and it absorbs quickly. I love using this cream because it is never greasy or oily. Instead, my skin feels moisturized with a flat feeling.

Natural and Organic

The cream uses minerals, mainly Zinc Oxide, to provide a protective barrier on the skin. Badger Balm only uses clear Zinc Oxide because it is cruelty-free and safe for reefs.

I love this unscented cream because I have sensitive skin and a crazy immune system. Many so-called “fragrance-free” products still have a chemical scent to them, but I could not discern one with Badger Balm’s Sport Mineral Sunscreen Cream 40. The formula contains 98% organic ingredients, and it’s hypoallergenic.

Bottom Line

Badger Balm’s Sport Mineral Sunscreen Cream 40 has been perfect for me on days when I’m out in the sun or swimming in the sea. I feel better knowing that I’m protected even in the water. I also appreciate all of Badger Balm’s sustainable practices, including their use of solar power and commitment to reef conservation.
