Royal Robbins Women’s Hemp Chambray Long Sleeve Review

Thin and Light

I’m always looking for a blouse-style top that works well for casual wear but can also keep me comfortable during long walks and hikes. I think I’ve found what I need in the Women’s Hemp Chambray Long Sleeve shirt by Royal Robbins.

I really like the lightweight, thin chambray fabric, made out of 53% hemp, 44% polyester, and 3% elastane. The polyester used in this fabric is made from recycled plastic bottles. The fabric has a hint of a slub to it. It’s like linen “lite” but doesn’t need ironing. I wash it in cold water, then let it hang to dry. 

The Women’s Hemp Chambray Long Sleeve shirt the ideal weight for Spring temperatures, and it looks smart for times I feel like a t-shirt feels a bit too casual. I also like the longer, tunic length since I’m quite tall. I apprecate the subtle but roomy front pockets! I use them for tissues, keys, a wallet when I head out to run errands. 

Simple Style

Stylewise, I like the simple design, with the narrow collar and thin strip of buttons on the front of the shirt. The Women’s Hemp Chambray Long Sleeve is a favorite for travel because it’s comfortable and somewhat breathable. It’s also fairly odor-resistant, making it a good choice for long travel days. 

The Women’s Hemp Chambray Long Sleeve is a versatile top that I wear on days I have a lot to do and don’t want to change clothes in between activities. I can wear it all day, then for a long walk, then to a friend’s for dinner. 

I like this shirt because it’s different that my other full-length button tops, and it’s nice and long if I want to wear it with leggings.
