Rossignol R-Exp Top: Wicks and Breathes With the Best

I’ve been wearing Rossignol’s R-EXP top for power walks and hiking in city parks for the past month, and it has performed well as a moisture-management workout top.

I’ve worn it alone on warm days and under a lightweight jacket or button-down shirt on cooler days. Either way, the top kept me from overheating or getting clammy. I really appreciate when I’m testing a new product and I forget all about it because it does what it says it will!

Mesh panels under the arms and up and down the back of the R-EXP top are effective at wicking moisture and breathing. That means I stay comfortable throughout the length of my outing. I don’t have many tops I like exercising in as much as this one.

Designed for Comfort

I like the silky lightweight material because it’s soft on my skin. It’s also seriously light; the material is quite thin. One of my favorite things about the R-EXP top: it’s made out of 100% recycled polyester. Most of all, I like the raglan-style sleeves. They are much more comfortable than set-in sleeves, they provide a more custom fit and flattering profile, and they reduce the number of shoulder seams should I decide to wear layers and a pack.

Slim, Stripe-y Style

Stylewise, I have enjoyed all the compliments I get whenever I wear the R-EXP Top. Who doesn’t love a T with racing stripes!

The top is available in men’s and women’s sizes, with slight variations in style. Both have raglan sleeves; flat, chafe-free seams; and designated mesh areas. The women’s top has capped sleeves and a solid-colored back mesh panel. The women’s top also has a chest design made up of a repeat pattern of the Rossignol logo. I’m usually a women’s size XL, but chose to test a men’s top because I’m 6′ tall and need tops that are long through the torso. I found a perfect fit in a men’s size XL. I’m usually an L in men’s tops, but the R-EXP men’s top is cut slim and runs a bit smaller than U.S. brands I’ve tested.

The men’s top is available in navy and white (sizes S-2XL). The women’s top is available in light green and white, sizes XS-XL. Both are currently on sale.
