Quince Stretch Crepe Pleated Ankle Pant

Simple, stylish travel pant.

I’m always searching for smart-looking clothes for travel that don’t break my budget, and I think I’ve found an ideal travel pant, Quince’s Stretch Crepe Pleated Ankle Pant.

This wrinkle-resistant slim pant is dressy with the right blouse and casual with a cotton or merino tee. Exactly what I want for museums, restaurants, and other venues where I want to look sharp and urban. I’ve never worn an ankle pant before; I like the versatility of wearing sandals or dressier shoes to adapt to whatever events come up while I’m traveling.

The Stretch Crepe Pleated Ankle Pant scores big points with me for having functional front pockets, as well as a comfy elastic waistband around the back of the pant. I like the way the fabric drapes. The material is just right – not too light, not too thick or heavy – and the pant is machine washable.

I appreciate the fact that Quince has some standards around how their garments are made. This pant contains recycled polyester, and is made in a BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) factory. BSCI is a certification for factories that work at improving conditions for workers. Quince makes a lot of wardrobe basics for women and men, at prices that won’t derail my travel budget. We’ll be reviewing more of their items soon.

Available in Black, Sand, and Olive in sizes 0-16. These pants run a smidge small. I tested my usual size, and they were a teensy bit snug across my bum. Made out of 97% recycled polyester, with 3% spandex.

Bottom Line

Stylish, versatile pants for travel that are easy to care for and easy on my bank account.
