I love how Quince has upgraded the basic hoodie with a luxurious cashmere knit and still kept the top casual and comfortable.
There’s nothing I love more than a comfy, soft sweater. Many years ago I had a thin cashmere cardigan that I loved, but I always felt like I should save it “for good.” Like maybe it was too nice for daily wear. That’s no way to live! Quince’s Mongolian Cashmere Full-Zip Hoodie just begs to be worn every day. It’s like my old favorite zip-up sweatshirt, complete with dangling hood ties, but so much better because it’s softer, warmer, and more stylish.
Versatile
I first wore it while visiting London in October. The weather was actually quite warm for the time of year, but the evenings would cool down just enough that I needed to wear something. Quince’s Mongolian Cashmere Full-Zip Hoodie was the ideal jacket because it looked smart but was still felt very casual and comfortable. When it was warm I could unzip it to cool off.
The Mongolian Cashmere Full-Zip Hoodie was ideal for travel because it looked good with jeans, chinos, dresses, and skirts. The material is so soft against my skin that I can wear the hoodie over a tank top. It’s very lightweight, so it was less bulky and more compressible when packing than my cotton sweatshirt. I also love having a hood because I never remember to bring a hat.
Sustainable
I am new to the Quince brand, but so far I like what I have seen. The hoodie is made from “100% Grade-A Mongolian cashmere,” and it is ethically produced. Quince works with companies committed to fair trade and sustainable production. I like that Quince has transparent pricing, printing the costs of production on their website.
Bottom Line
I have been living in this lovely, soft hoodie, and I have loved all the compliments I’ve received. I found a perfect fit in a men’s L (I usually wear women’s XL, but wanted to try a men’s style for extra length since I’m quite tall). I’ve been wearing the hoodie for more than a month, and it does’t smell at all. When it does, I’ll follow the washing instructions on Quince’s website.
