Made out of stretchy, lightweight silicone, the New Wave Swim Cap has been an important part of my open water swimming year for almost four years. I love the bright colors, all designed to make me more visible in the water. I also love how durable this cap is. No rips, no tears. I’ve been tossing it into my swim bag for years, and it stands up well to my neglect and abuse. Grateful to have a reliable piece of gear.
Even though my original yellow cap still has a lot of life left in it, I recently swapped it out for a pink New Wave Swim Cap.
I expect my hair to get wet when I swim, but I’m always surprised to find it dry when I remove my cap! It’s nice to have a swim cap that fits well and performs well but doesn’t squeeze my head.
