Paka Socks

Luxuriously soft alpaca crew socks.

There is a scene in Women in Love where the two main characters, Ursula and Gudrun, discuss the magic of beautiful socks.

“One gets the greatest joy of all out of really lovely stockings,” said Ursula.
“One does,” replied Gudrun, “the greatest joy of all.”

This is how I feel about Paka socks. The first time I put them on I was transported into bliss by the cashmere-like softness. I almost didn’t want to put on my shoes, but I did because there was walking to be done!

Versatile, High Performing, Pure Comfort

The Paka socks proved to be up to the task, performing well in all key categories: comfort, moisture management, and thermoregulation. Like wool, alpaca fibers do a good job of breathing, wicking, and helping my feet stay at a comfortable temperature. Whether I’m on the trail or power walking in the park near my house, I’ve been happy and comfortable wearing these socks.

I like having a lightweight sock I can wear with my every day shoes and with my trail and athletic shoes. I like these socks so much that the first time I wore them I didn’t take them off for three days. I literally wore them all day long, then I slept in them. I would have kept the socks on longer, but after three days I really needed a shower!

Bottom Line

Paka socks are high performing, they fit me well (thanks to a gentle hugging band around the arch), and they are the softest socks I’ve ever worn. I love them.
