Extra Measure
Even with dedicated computer sleeves in my day packs, I want some extra protection for my precious to prevent scratches and bumps from other items in my pack, as well as to prevent the laptop from moving around inside the pack’s sleeve.
The thin North St. Bags 13” Computer Sleeve perfectly fits around my 13” MacBook Pro, adding dense padding without adding bulk. The sleeve is made out of durable and waterproof recycled sail cloth and lined with a tough nylon fabric. The sleeve has 1/2” binding around the outer edges, adding some rigidity that surrounds the computer. I appreciate having the extra padding because even though I’m usually careful, there are times when someone else might handle my bag (like in stores where they make customers hand in their bags while shopping).
The sleeve fits 13” laptops, and it’s is simple to use. I can easily slide in my computer, then press the velcro-sealed flap closed. I have several bags and packs I use in a week, and for travel, so I like having the added layer of protection for my most expensive electronic gadget.
