Inova®  T8R PowerSwitchTM Rechargeable Flashlight

Multi-mode rechargeable flashlight.

Inova’s T8R PowerSwitchTM flashlight is exactly what I’ve been looking for: a powerful, durable,  weatherproof, rechargeable light.

Just Right LED Light

The flashlight fits in my hand perfectly, it’s easy to grip thanks to the scoring on the handle, and when not in use, it easily fits into my jacket pocket. I have a similar light that is much longer, and to be honest, I stopped using it because it was too long and it takes an odd battery size. I don’t have time for battery shopping!

I like the Inova T8R PowerSwitchTM flashlight’s anodized aluminum housing; it’s solidly built for rugged outdoor use. There’s a metal clip on the handle so I can attach the light to a belt or on the outside of a pocket on my coat or pack.

Easy Does It

I struggle with cognitive issues, so I always have a learning curve with new gear. I appreciate the Inova T8R PowerSwitchTM flashlight’s simple on/off button on the top of the handle. I can also use the button to select between high and low light modes. Then it’s simple to turn the flashlight head left or right to select the type and color of beam I want to use. White or Red.

The best thing about this flashlight is getting a powerful beam of light from a rechargeable battery. It’s better for the environment to use rechargeable products, and it’s so much more convenient for me. I can charge the light at night, and it’s good to go the next time I go out.

I recently went on a night-time urban hike and was so glad I had the Inova T8R PowerSwitchTM flashlight in my car. We ended up on a pitch black trail in a huge park, but the flashlight beam was long enough and wide enough to illuminate the path. I also noticed that the light quality holds for the length of the the battery charge for a uniform output.

Built for Hard Work

The professional grade anodized aluminum housing makes the flashlight come out on the heavy side, but it’s not too heavy. The light contains a rechargeable battery and allows the option of using two non-rechargeable CR123 batteries.

Nice to have that flexibility. Nicer to feel like I have a high quality light that allows me to travel lighter because I don’t have to pack batteries.

Last time I used the light I had it on for almost four hours, mostly on high beam, before I had to recharge. The battery lasts much longer on low beam.
