Hi-Tec Women’s Crew Performance Hiking Socks

I do a lot of walking and hiking here in the Pacific Northwest, so I need socks I can count on, especially when it gets cold. Hi-Tec’s Women’s Crew Performance Hiking socks have been keeping my feet comfortable for many miles.

Made out of an acrylic/merino blend*, the Women’s Crew Performance Hiking socks are warm without being bulky and breathable while still providing cushioning. Both the toe box and heels are reinforced, and there is a compression panel that wraps around the arch, so these socks stay in place all day long. Hi-Tec has designed the sock to provide just enough padding where I need it (under heel and forefoot), while keeping the sock light and trim.

No more thick, bunchy socks for me. I’ve worn the Women’s Crew Performance Hiking socks on long day hikes through lowland forests with plenty of elevation gain and loss. What stood out for me is what I didn’t feel or notice:  no bunching, pressure points, or tired, sore feet afterwards. Just happy, comfortable feet. I’ve also been hiking and walking in temperatures in the 20s and 30s (F), and my feet have stayed warm in these socks.

Available in women’s and men’s sizes, the Hi-Tec Performance Hiking socks come in sophisticated colors, as well as in fancy patterns (flowers!). These socks come in a two-pair pack–a great deal.

Bottom Line:   A warm, breathable sock that provides warmth and a good fit.
