Hestra Wind Shield Liner

Since I live in a temperate climate, I rarely need to wear heavy-duty gloves in the winter. Liners keep my hands plenty warm. Hestra’s Wind Shield Liner gloves have been a treat to wear because they’re made out of thicker material than my usual liners, and they provides great wind protection on breezy evening walks.

Made out of polyester, the Hestra Wind Shield Liner gloves are fleecy soft on the inside, with two-inch wide fleece cuffs to keep out the cold. I wear these gloves most nights when I go for long power walks with my friend, and they keep me warm even when the temperatures get close to freezing (the more active I am, the longer I can wear the liners on their own in colder temps).

I’m a fan of keeping up with my walks no matter the weather. The Hestra Wind Shield Liner gloves have done an excellent job of blocking the wind on many blustery, drizzly nights in temperatures from 45 degrees F down to freezing temps.

Hestra Handcuff

The Hestra Wind Shield Liner gloves are my “go to” gloves when I’m out and about. They have rubbery gripper dots across the palms and the tips of the fingers, which make gripping, holding, and opening things more secure. I always wear these gloves for driving because I know the steering wheel won’t slip through my fingers.

Finally, I like the contrast red fabric “hooks” stitched to the cuffs. They’re designed to be used with Hestra “handcuffs” that secure gloves to sleeves to prevent users from losing a glove or both. I use them to hang up my gloves when they’re wet.

Bottom Line: Durable, versatile, hard working liner that is a fabulous glove on its own. A wonderful every day and active wear glove for cold-but-not-freezing weather.
