Hestra Touch Point Warmth Gloves

Although I live in a temperate climate, winters are still cold enough that I need gloves. Mostly, I just need liner style gloves to keep my hands warm in temps from around mid-40 degrees F down to freezing. Hestra’s Touch Point Warmth Gloves have been ideal.

Go Ahead, Use Your Phone

Made out of a 70% Polyester, 20% Wool, 10% Elastan tricot blend fabric, these full coverage gloves keep my hands warm and have special “touch point” technology on the thumb and first finger that allows me to use my iPhone with my gloves on. When I’m out and about I can make and answer calls, use my fitness tracking/timing app, take photos, and more. I’m actually surprised that the touch point material works so well because my phone is always in a case; even the screen is covered by hard, clear plastic.

I wear the gloves most often for exercising outdoors in dry weather and for hiking on trails near my house. They are plenty warm, and they fit perfectly. I have long fingers and tall palms, so it can be challenging to find gloves that fit. (I don’t like it when the cuffs hit the bottom of my palms because it makes the glove feel too short. It’s also uncomfortable.) The Hestra Touch Point Warmth Gloves fit perfectly and have a longer palm area; the wide cuffs hit about 3/4 of an inch below the bottom of my palm. It’s so nice to have that full coverage and the warm, snug cuffs to keep out the elements.

Warm, Good Fit

“handcuff”

This unisex glove is available in gray, and is designed to be used as a liner for a winter glove. When we had a rare snowstorm a couple of weeks ago, I was happy to have these liners inside my waterproof winter gloves so I could play in the snow. The red ribbon loops on the cuffs work with Hestra’s “handcuffs” to prevent people from losing their gloves. I use the loops to hang up my Touch Point Warmth Gloves with a carabiner so I can keep them together!

Bottom Line: I am impressed with the fit, the style, and the quality of these gloves. Using the size chart on Hestra’s website helped me select the size I needed.

Available in sizes 6-11. Unisex.
