Large polarized sunglasses for bright sun.
I haven’t always been the most careful about wearing sunglasses in the summer because I’ve been living in a temperature climate. Now that global warming is changing our weather, summers are hot and very sunny. Suddenly, I feel like I need better protection, especially when I’m at the lake or the sea.

I’ve been wearing Costa’s King Tide 6 sunglasses for weeks, and they have been so effective at protecting my eyes from direct sun and from sun reflected off of the water. The King Tide 6 has Costa’s Premium Polarized 580 Lenses. They are durable, resistant to water, oil, and dirt, and provide 100%UV protection.
I like the Costa King Tide 6’s wraparound design, along with the removable side shields. They work together to provide incredible protection so that I can focus on my activities. The shields contain small vents that are effective at preventing fogging. Brilliant.
The Costa’s King Tide 6 sunglasses come with a substantial protective case and a thin metal glasses holder. I like the case, but I’d prefer a smaller one since I like to travel light. The protective case is just too large to stuff into my small day pack.

I usually end up tossing Costa’s King Tide 6 sunglasses into my pack or into my swim bag when I’m not wearing them. So far they have held up well, and I haven’t noticed any scratches on the lenses. The sunglasses are available with five different lenses designed for specific light conditions and activities.
The Costa’s King Tide 6 sunglasses are available in XL. I have a small head and narrow face, so they were quite large on me. Still, they weren’t uncomfortable, and I appreciated the full coverage. Costa has an interesting size chart on their website. You can select your frame size based on how you adjust your baseball cap. Check it out:
I have a small face, so the XL frames are too big for me, but I love how well the large polarized glass lenses block the sun. RX lenses available. See review of Costa Seadrift sunglasses.
