Columbia Women’s Saturday Trail™ II Knee Pant.

I live in a temperate climate, so it’s often a bit too cold for shorts and a bit too warm for pants during the shoulder seasons.  I’m a big fan of knee pants, but hadn’t found a pair I liked until I tested Columbia’s Women’s Saturday Trail™ II Knee Pant.

Made out of a soft, stretchy fabric that provides UPF 50 sun protection, as well as water repellency, the Saturday Trail™ II Knee Pant has become the bottom half of my daily uniform. I love this pant. It’s cut like a straight leg pant, so I have room through the thighs without the pants feeling or looking baggy. I like the drawstrings in the hems that allow me to cinch up the ends of the legs if I want for a more streamlined fit.

A gusseted inseam and articulated knees make the Saturday Trail™ II Knee Pant ideal for active pursuits. I can move with ease whether I’m on the trail or exercising at the gym. Mesh pockets (two front, one back) help keep the pant lightweight.

The other thing I love about the Saturday Trail™ II Knee Pant is its simple style. The mid-rise, the yoke on the back of the pant, the belt loops, and the straight cut give this pant a sleek, uncluttered look. I wear them around the city all the time, and never feel like I’m wearing hiking pants.

The Saturday Trail™ II Knee Pant is ideal for travel. It’s quick-drying, it has a zippered hidden pocket on one leg for extra cash, and look good with shoes, boots, and sandals.

Available in women’s sizes 2-16 in Fossil and Grill.
