Flylow Launches First Spring Line

Flylow launches first spring line, blending technical and casual wear for summer living

(Alpine Meadows, CA – March 27, 2016)—Flylow, manufacturers of freeride ski apparel, ventures into new territory this spring with the debut of the company’s first spring and summer apparel collection. After 10 years of making some of the most durability, breathable, waterproof, and award-winning outerwear on the market for winter sports enthusiasts, Flylow co-founders Dan Abrams and Greg Steen decided it was time to outfit Flylow customers for the rest of the year, too.

“We spend our summers mountain biking, trail running, road tripping, camping, paddling, and more, and we thought, ‘Why aren’t we making gear for these activities, too?” says Dan Abrams, president and CEO of Flylow. “Ten years in, we figured it was the perfect time to expand our line and turn Flylow into your trusted, year-round brand. We jokingly refer the new line as a ‘campfire casual’ collection because it’s suited for the kind of days that end around the campfire.”

The collection, which starts with men’s wear and will include women’s apparel in spring 2017, includes both technical pieces—suited for mountain biking, hiking, and life on the go—as well as more casual pieces, like the button-up shirts and durable shorts guys wear all summer long.

Check out the Murray Cord Pant, a resilient, straight-leg corduroy pant, and the Maclean Windbreaker, which is ultra light and packable and comes in handy on mountain bike descents, at the top of a hike, or while trail running. The button-up, short-sleeved Phil A Shirt, an American classic made from blended cotton, makes you feel proud and stand tall. And the RTS Cap—short for recycle the stoke—is made with nylon and is quick drying and lightweight, a perfect summer ball cap.

Flylow’s first spring line is available now at www.flylowgear.com and in participating retailers.
