Lightweight supportive socks
Protective, Supportive
I’ve been wearing Swiftwick’s Aspire 5 Crew Sock for long walks, short hikes, and bike rides lately, and I’m really enjoying them.
I like the crew style because it’s so effective at preventing things like dirt and tiny stones from getting into the sock and because it allows me to receive some firm compression without wearing a knee-high sock. The well-defined heel cup and the around-the-arch weave work together to help keep the socks in place. The snug fit means I can wear socks even in my more streamlined athletic shoes since the sock takes up almost no space. I appreciate the light cushioning, which is subtle but effective.
The Swiftwick Aspire 5 Crew Sock is made out of a 79% Nylon, 18% Olefin, 3% Spandex fabric that’s breathable and does a great job of wicking away sweat to keep my feet dry. I’ve never had a blister or hot spot while wearing these socks.
