Super soft cropped shirt jacket.
The temperature at my cabin in the mountains has been getting down to the 30’s F and below lately. Warm, layered clothing that’s stylish, soft, and versatile is important to me, and my new Orvis Snowy River Shirt Jacket checks all those boxes.

The first thing I noticed was how amazingly soft this top is! My Orvis Snowy River Shirt Jacket is made with a brushed tight-knit fabric that has a light stretch to it. This makes it perfect for casual gatherings by the fire or for heading into town for dinner. It has medium-sized buttons that make it quick and easy to button, as well as two chest pockets with buttons if I need to carry something small, such as my lip balm or a facial tissue.
I’ve been wearing my Orvis Snowy River Shirt Jacket several different ways, which is what makes it such a versatile option. On a not-too-cold fall day, I’ll choose a tank top to wear under it and wear it unbuttoned or buttoned up part way. On colder days, I wear a turtleneck under it and throw a down vest on over it when heading outside. It has button cuffs, so I can roll up my sleeves a bit if I want to.
My Orvis Snowy River Shirt Jacket looks great with jeans or pants. It has a box cut (but it’s not too boxy) that comes just to my hip and looks great with skinny jeans tucked into boots. It comes in two colors; an oatmeal color called Barley and navy blue called True Navy. I have the True Navy color and I love it! The sizes range from XS to XL and it seems to run true to size.
I have a lot of comfy tops that are part of my rotating fall and winter wardrobe, but I’ve found myself wearing my Orvis Snowy River Shirt Jacket a lot because I love the soft fabric and because it’s stylish. It’s much more attractive than wearing a sweatshirt, yet it’s just as soft and comfy!
