Stainless steel camping utensils.
HydroFlask’s stainless steel Utensil Set is the perfect solution for away-from-home meals.

Made out of food-grade 18/8 stainless steel, the fork, spoon, and knife were designed to be stacked and stashed into their own Velcro-sealed nylon pouch for storage and transport. The pouch has a nylon cord loop on one end, making it easy to hang on my gear wall when not in use.
The utensils are full-sized, thin, and elegant, with enough heft to feel like my at-home silverware. I really appreciate using full-sized utensils whether I’m picnicking or eating a packed lunch. When I’m hungry I don’t want to fiddle around with miniature utensils, all-in-one sporks with knives on one end, or flimsy plastic forks and spoons (we all need to stop using plastic anyway because it’s bad for the environment). With HydroFlask’s full-sized utensils I can enjoy my meals and even use the utensils to serve food.

The fork tines are not as sharp as my regular silverware, but that hasn’t been a problem. I like the broad, round spoon that works just as well for oatmeal as for soup. The serrated knife does a good job cutting and spreading the foods I eat (mostly vegetables, bean dips, sometimes a bit of cheese.) The utensils have holes on the ends of the handles so I can easily connect them with a small carabiner or hang them on hooks.
I’ve use several styles of camping utensils over the years, and they each have different uses. Since I use the HydroFlask utensils for packed lunches and picnics, rather than for backpacking trips where weight is a factor, I like having three separate, full-sized utensils. On a recent picnic, my friend packed some hummus in a HydroFlask food storage container, and it was helpful having a long knife to use with the deep container.
The HydroFlask Utensil set is BPA-free and dishwasher-safe. This set would be a great gift item.
