Flowfold Wallet Essentialist: Mini Pouch, AirPods Case, ID Case Wallet

A versatile, small, lightweight pouch for use as a wallet or for carrying small items.

Most of the time I don’t need much of a wallet because I don’t ever carry money, and I don’t have lots of cards. The Flowfold Essentialist has been an ideal option for me.

Packing Light

When I go out I just need my I.D., my credit card, and my health insurance card. Maybe a lip balm stick. All of those items, and occasionally some cash, easily fit into my Flowfold Essentialist zippered wallet.

This pocket-sized wallet is easy to stash in a pants or jacket pocket, in a zippered pocket in my mini daypack, or on the end of the lanyard in my larger daypack (the wallet as a multi-colored thin rope loop on the end).

Colorful, Durable

Thee Flowfold Essentialist wallet is lightweight and highly water resistant. The zipper isn’t waterproof, but the EcoPak™ Fabric is. I have been tossing this into my swim buoy during open water swims, and it’s worked out very well. The buoy doesn’t leak, but always feels damp inside after a swim. Still, the moisture doesn’t penetrate the wallet material.

I really appreciate having such a handy wallet. It keeps my essentials secure and dry, and the loop on the end of the wallet helps me keep it latched inside bigger bags for quick access. I also like the sailcloth fabric, with its diamond grid embossing. The wallet I tested was blue on one side and yellow on the other. I love the bright color combo, and I use the wallet in solidarity with Ukraine!

Bottom Line

A very handy small wallet that’s easy to carry when I am active.
