Pocket-Size Pick-Me-Up
After a ten-hour, trans-Atlantic flight recently, I wanted to do three things fairly urgently: find a bathroom, get a drink of water, and wash my face. With a clean face, I knew I could start feeling human again, even if jet lag had me spinning and I still had to face an eight-hour layover and another flight.
I was so happy that I had remembered to pack a few Ursa Major Essential Facial Wipes in my hip pack. It was quite easy to remove a facial wipe from its packaging, unfold, and wash my face. I made sure to get my forehead, my cheeks, my chin, and even my neck. The wipe was perfectly damp, with just enough moisture to leave me feeling refreshed and clean after using it.
The wipe, made out of bamboo, was the perfect size, thinness, and consistency. There was no mess or dripping, and the wipe felt rejuvenating on my skin.
I have used other wipes brands in the past that have been too thin, too dry, too wet, and too stripping. Each time I have used a Ursa Major Essential Facial Wipe my skin has felt as clean as if I had washed with a facial cleanser, natural, and nourished. I finally read the packaging after using the wipes a few times (I usually avoid reading the packaging so I won’t be influenced by marketing copy), and realized why my skin felt so nice after using these wipes.
The Ursa Major Essential Facial Wipe is designed to “clean, exfoliate, soothe, and hydrate.” I don’t know how they pack all those benefits into one wipe, but I would agree with this description. Along with a host of other natural ingredients, the wipes contain: green tea, which contains antioxidants; witch hazel, a natural astringent; aloe, which soothes and hydrates; and birch sap, which reduces redness.
So Convenient
The Ursa Major Essential Facial Wipe is now one of my all-time favorite facial wipes because it cleans my skin without drying and because it’s so handy to use. It’s just not practical to carry a little bottle of cleanser in my travel bag (which is either a hip pack or a daypack since I’m not a purse person), and it’s not easy to try to use any type of personal products in a tiny airplane bathroom. With the Ursa Major Essential Facial Wipe I can take care of my skin without leaving my seat. After use I can fold up the wipe and put back into the packaging for disposal.
I love using this all-purpose wipe because I don’t feel like I’m cheating my skin by not using my regular face wash product. I’ve already used most of the Ursa Major Essential Facial Wipe wipes I packed for this trip. I wish I had packed more. Even after using them for several days I’m surprised by how clean and soft my face feels after using a wipe.
I couldn’t discern a scent, other than a fresh-smelled natural clean type of scent. I love it when I test a product that really works for me. I will never leave home without these wipes!
