The North Face Fleece Hood

From the moment I pulled on the North Face Fleece Hood I felt relieved that I finally had a single comfortable solution to the cold. With an added bonus of a new ninja look!

I can’t believe I’ve spent my entire life trying to make a hat, scarf (or neck gaiter), and face protection work, all the while still getting stung by cold in the little spaces that somehow didn’t get covered. The North Face Fleece Hood is so simple and so effective. I pull it on over my head, then put on my jacket.

The bottom of the hood is long enough to cover the top of my chest and shoulders, the hood keeps my ears and head warmer, and the built-in face mask adds even more warmth around my neck while keeping my face well covered. I can wear the hood alone or over a helmet, and I can cinch it tighter with the hood ties. Brilliant.

I love this large fleece all-in-one hood. I’m embarrassed I didn’t find something like this a long time ago. Two sizes: s/m and l/xl. Available in black and grey. Also available in youth sizes.
