Our Nite Ize Nighthowl™ Rechargeable Lite Suit – Disco-O Select™ dog light gets used daily to take my 90lb chocolate lab, Seamus, out for his evening constitutional. It’s easy to put on, and I can adjust the suit easily for a custom fit.

The bull-body light makes Seamus visible in the dark and in transitional light, including during dusk and dawn and under city light pollution, which can wash out the effectiveness of typical clip-on dog lights.

Material/Fabric: The Nite Ize Nighthowl™ Rechargeable Lite Suit – Disco-O Select™ consists of a heavy plastic, a USBC rechargeable light unit, two harness sliders, and two long pieces of heavy-duty fiber optic rope.

The suit is one-size-fits-all, and there is plenty of rope for large dogs. It’s easy to customize the fit (for any sized dog) by simply trimming the fiber optic rope to size. Rubber gaskets where the fiber optic rope plugs into the light unit keep things secure and water resistant.

Though I wouldn’t submerge the Nighthowl™ in water I wouldn’t hesitate to clean it with soap and a wet cloth. The light unit recharges via USBC in 2 hours and has up to a 22 hour run time. It comes with a worry-free guarantee from Nite Ize for repair and replacement.
