Colorful compression socks for men and women.
Not Just for Travel
I used to think of compression socks as fairly boring travel items, necessary on long flights if they helped with circulation and puffiness but not something I thought of after my flight. Then I found out about Vim & Vigr’s compression socks, featuring bold colors, polka dots, stripes, and other fun designs. I was curious.
The first day I wore the Vim & Vigr’s cotton Best Friend socks, which are made out of a cute puppy face pattern, I noticed instantly how nice if felt to have such a snug-fitting sock with a nice two-inch wide ribbing around the top of the sock. It was like my leg was getting supported in a way I didn’t even know it needed. Later in the day I appreciated that the socks had not moved at all. Love socks that don’t slip or crumple up in my shoes.

Throughout the day I noticed that my legs felt just a bit more springy. It was a subtle feeling, as if my legs were not quite so tired at the end of the day. I wondered if this was a placebo effect.
The next day I wore Vim & Vigr’s merino wool Petite Dot socks. I had that same slightly energizing feeling in my legs, and it make me feel like maybe I had just a teensy bit more energy all over. Since merino wool is effective at resisting odor, I was able to wear the socks several more times without washing. Every day they felt as snug and supportive as the first time I wore them.
I also wear Vim & Vigr socks during and after activity to combat swelling in my left leg, which is still recovering from a surgery several months ago.
Ask Your Doctor
Wearing the Vim & Vigr socks made my legs feel good, so I asked my doctor about them since I have a condition for which compression socks are recommended. He said that the 15-20 MMHG socks that I wear-tested were not really considered a therapeutic level of compression, but he thought they were a great way for me to get used to wearing compression socks.
I agree. Now that I’ve worn a mild level of compression, I feel ready to try the next level. Vim & Vigr makes socks in three compression levels: 15-20 MMHG, 20-30 MMHG, and 30-40 MMHG. They also make socks in three materials: cotton, wool, and nylon, and they make socks in two calf sizes.
Bottom Line
I’m a little surprised by how much I like wearing compression socks, They are thinner than my regular socks, but I don’t mind because I am happy to wear anything that makes me feel even a tiny bit more energized.
