I have a lot of small gadgets and devices, and now, thanks to the Chums Holster, I can keep them close and ready for action.
Made out of fleece-lined heavy duty ballistic nylon, the Chums Holster has a nice flat profile and a simple clip I can use to attach the holster to my belt or to the waistband of my pants. My tiny camera fits in with room to spare; I like having my camera “out” so I can just pull it from my waist and take photos.
The Chums Holster seals with a wide flap; the Velcro holds the it securely to the holster so my camera won’t fall out. The sides of the holster are made of elastic, so they stretch to accommodate other devices, such as my iPod, which is wider than my camera. I was surprised at how well it fit since it’s encased in a protective shell. I like using the Chums Holster with my iPod because it gives me better access than when I carry my iPod in a pocket.
Finally, I like to use the Chums Holster for my iPhone 5. It’s a tight ft because I have an Otter case on my phone that makes it almost too tall for the flap to close securely. With a less bulky case the iPhone would fit better. Still, I use it often because I seem to use my phone for almost everything (but talking): taking photos, looking up directions, checking my email, checking in on Facebook.
