Ecoths Tallac Short Sleeve Button-Down Shirt

Ecoths’s new Tallac short sleeve button-down shirt is the epitome of what a casual men’s shirt should be: stylish, light, breathable, and comfortable. Often, something gets sacrificed in the quest for perfection, but not here. This shirt rules.

I have been wearing this more and more as the summer temps continue to rise here in the Colorado mountains. It keeps me cool and comfortable thanks to the 100 percent organic cotton and the ever-so-subtle textured weave. The contrast stitching and rugged styling look pretty slick, too, and make me feel awesome.

I really like the fact that the shirt uses buttons that snap together instead of pair with holes. First off, there’s no button hole — so there’s no stitching that can eventually unravel. Second, it’s super easy to undo the front of the shirt with one hand for venting. Why bother setting down a perfectly cold micro brew, or taking my hands off the handlebar, or hanging on my climbing rope, just to unbutton my shirt?

Perhaps what I like the most about the new Ecoths Tallac short sleeve is the company itself. Ecoths is committed to social responsibility, and  donates what amounts to three meals to a local food bank with every garment purchased. I love seeing a company put its money where its mouth is.

The Tallac SS is available in men’s sizing (S-XXL) in black, white, a light blue, and an orange color. My size L offers an athletic cut, and isn’t as baggy as other casual button down collared tees can be.

Bottom Line: Uber-stylish, lightweight, organic cotton button down that feels even better than it looks.
