It rarely drops below freezing in the winter here in Seattle, so I wear lightweight short-sleeved workout tops year-round. Super.Natural’s Base Tee 140 has been a staple in my exercise wardrobe.
Made out of a 50/50 wool/poly blend, this super thin t-shirt does an excellent job of wicking, breathing, and regulating my body temperature. Super.Natural’s Base Tee 140 all I wear under a thin insulated jacket for power walks in temperatures down to the high 30’s F. It’s my go-to top for yoga, pilates, and Push-Up Club (a club I started with my neighbors: we do strengthening mat exercises for the length of any number of our favorite 70’s and 80’s albums.)
Super.Natural’s Base Tee 140 is also an excellent layering piece under a long-sleeve mid-weight merino top when temps get down to freezing or even down to the low 20’s. I tend to warm up very quickly when I exercise, and often overdress on cold days, so I like the way this top breathes and prevents me from overheating. By the time I get back home, the shirt is dry. I like that, too, since a hike or power walk with a friend could turn into a tea or coffee stop post-workout. I can go inside, get rid of my top layers and not feel cold and clammy.
I like the modest but open neckline and the long cut through the torso. Most women’s tops are too short for me, so I appreciate that Super.Natural has a leaner cut that’s also not too snug. I also like that the Base Tee 140 comes in so many colors. I tested a pink top, and it’s so fun. I’m not normally a fan of pink, but this tee is bubble-gum pink, and it looks smart with my track training pants.
Available in men’s and women’s styles, Super.Natural’s Base Tee 140 is an all-purpose top for exercise, outdoor activity, and travel. I don’t have to wash it very often because it resists odors. It also dries quickly, making it idea for travel.
Women’s Base Tee 140 is available in sizes XS-XL in a variety of colors, including: Caviar, Cloud, Madder Red, Magenta, Marine Green, Ocean Deep, and Purple Haze. I find this top runs a bit small. I’m usually a size L in tops but found better fit in an XL.
