Wigwam Stratus Fusion Sock : Perfect Fit for Fall
With the weather turning cooler and wetter as fall settles in, I've swapped my sandals for shoes. I've also found the ideal sock for the season--Wigwam's Stratus Fusion. These fun, striped crew-length socks have replaced my usual cotton socks because they're much better at keeping my feet dry and warm. The Stratus Fusion has a liner layer made out of 100% Olefin, a quick-drying type of polypropylene. The outer layer of the sock is made out of a blend of merino wool, nylon, and Olefin. The two layers work well to wick away and repel moisture so my feet stay comfortable even when they get wet. Wearing the Stratus Fusion socks is like getting a happy bear hug around my feet. I wear these socks on walks, when I'm kicking around town, and at work. They're just the right weight for me - not as thick as an athletic-style cotton crew sock, but a bit more substantial than a thin dress sock. I like the design and colors of these socks, and more important, they truly feel great on my feet. No sagging or slipping, not too tight, and no seams that would cause pressure points. Wigwam's Stratus Fusion sock comes in women's' sizes 6-10. Available in: Black-, Air Force Blue-, and Walnut-themed stripes. Bottom Line: A great all-around sock that's attractive and performs well.--J.I. (Oct '10) BUY ONLINE : $15.90, shop at Amazon Manufacturer's Site: www.wigwam.com |
