Thule Catch-All : The Perfect Pocket

Sometimes it's the little things that need attention. On my last road trip, it drove me crazy that my boyfriend's cell phone and sunglasses were either rolling across the dashboard all day...or lost. So before our trip to Sol Duc Hot Springs this past weekend, I got organized with Thule's Carry-All.

Part of Thule's Interior Load Organization line, this handy, black nylon pouch clips onto the air vent in my dash--exactly in the most convenient place to stow items that need to be put away and retrieved frequently during a long drive (or even during an afternoon of running errands).

I was pretty excited about using the Thule Catch-All on our trip, but I wasn't sure my boyfriend would use it because he just doesn't care much about gear. To my surprise, he did take advantage of it, without any prompting from me--probably because it's actually easier to use the Catch-All than to reach over and place items in the well on the passenger side dash. Smart Thule!!

The Catch-All is lined with a contrast, grey nylon and has a rigid, wide "mouth" that makes it easy to drop in a pair of glasses and a cell phone. The pouch is tapered at the bottom, so it rests flat (and out-of-the-way) against the dash. There's also a small, slim sleeve on the front of the Catch-All that turned out to be ideal for holding the fold-up knife we used while foraging for mushrooms. It's also just big enough for a thin cell phone.

Bottom Line: I'm not the most organized person, so I love it when I find a product like Thule's Catch-All that's simple to use and helps me keep track of items that are so often misplaced. What a great gift item!--E.D. (Oct. '10)
