Sherpa Pema Hat
What’s better than a hand-knit wool hat? A hand-knit wool hat with Polarfleece lining by Sherpa Adventure Gear! Their Pema Hat is hand knit out of lamb’s wool in Nepal, with an attractive cable design and an inch-and-a-half wide ribbed band. I like the classic style and chunky wool, as well as the dark teal color (it’s available in several colors). What makes Sherpa Adventure Gear’s Pema Hat more than just a pretty lid is it’s extra wide black Polarfleece lining. This lining serves two purposes: it’s ultra soft against my ears (no itchies!) and it’s extra warm in cold weather. My ears get a double layer of protection. I like that the Pema Hat isn’t fully lined because the top of the hat remains highly breathable, something I need when I wear this hat for cold-weather power walks. Bottom Line: It’s cute, it’s functional, and it looks fab with my sleek black Sherpa Adventure Gear Vajra Jacket.—E.D. (Jan 2012) BUY ONLINE: $17.50, only $13.99 at Powderfin.
