Moshi iVisor Pro for MacBook Pro computers

I didn’t just spend a bundle on my MacBook Pro to end up with fingerprints, smudges, or scratches on my screen.  I like to keep my baby in pristine condition with Moshi’s iVisor Pro, a thin protective film that’s easy to apply and keep clean.

All I had to do was remove the film from its package, line it up with my screen, and gently press it to the glass.  I didn’t get it quite lined up perfectly the first time, but that was no problem because it came right off for a second try.  Once I secured the iVisor to my screen, I was very happy to find that it was easy to smooth out.  No bubbles!! 

One of my beefs with the new MacBook Pro computers is the closure.  There’s no button to open the lid, like the PowerBook had, so when I open it I get fingerprints on the screen, especially near the built-in camera.  I don’t like that!  The iVisor Pro is has a small hole on the top so that the camera has a clear shot AND the area around the camera is protected from smudges.  I like that!

I’ve been using the iVisor Pro for a few months, and it’s been fantastic.  It seems to be attached for the long haul, yet I know I can remove it and reapply if I need to.  I use a small cloth to wipe it down every now and then. The film is quite clear also provides anti-glare benefits, which I really like.  I spend most of my days and nights in front of my computer, so I appreciate any help I can get to reduce eye strain.

Bottom Line: I'll admit that I wish the iVisor was priced a bit lower, but for me it's an essential accessory.--E.D. (March 2011)
