Moshi iVisor AG for iPad

Having owned an iPad for several months now, I've realized that there really isn't much I can't do with it, from reading books, to watching Netflix, to listening to music. However, one thing I can't easily do with my iPad is sit outside on a sunny day and see the screen through the glare. That’s why I now have the Moshi iVisor AG advanced iPad screen protector.

This durable, easy-to-apply film reduces glare without affecting the brightness or colors through the screen. They look just as bright and colorful as before. The anti-glare feature makes a huge difference; now I can view my iPad outdoors or sitting by a bright window and still see the screen. Using my finger or a stylus pen to swipe, tap, or type is just as effective. The Moshi screen protector is a bit thicker film that other screen protectors I’ve used because it’s also designed to help prevent scratching.  It’s still thin enough that I don’t notice it’s there and so my snug iPad cases and skins still fit.

The Moshi iVisor AG is easy to apply.  The screen protector has a film over it with a pull tab on the side.  All you need to do is slowly peel the film away, line up the screen protector over your iPad, and slowly lay it down on top. Then take a soft cloth (included) and run it over the new screen protector to smooth it down and wipe it clean again. I was very happy with how simple the iVisor was to apply. I have tried other screen protectors and found some of them almost impossible to apply smoothly over the screen because bubbles would form underneath parts of the film.

One nice feature of the Moshi iVisor is that I can remove it if I want to use a different type of iPad protector. If stored properly (save the protective film and packaging), it can be reused again in the future. In fact, the packaging states that you can wash it and use it again.

Bottom Line: The Moshi iVisor AG is going to stay on my iPad from now on because it makes reading in any type of lighting much easier, and I love how well it protects the glass screen from fingerprints and smudging.--N.S (June 2011)
