Mountain Hardwear Chisholm Shirt : One for the Road
When I travel, I like the comfort, style, and durability of my hiking gear, but prefer a lightweight, versatile top that's easy to care for, easy to pack, and looks good enough to wear out to dinner or a movie. Mountain Hardwear's Chisolm shirt fits the bill perfectly. First, it's comfortable and lightweight; at 5 ounces, it packs small. It's also always read-to-wear because it doesn't wrinkle. I spent a night on a red-eye flight crumpled in my seat, but felt presentable when I arrived at my destination wearing this shirt. The poly-nylon fabric is cool and comfortable, and I like the plaid design. This well-made top also features a left breast pocket with a hidden zippered compartment for my passport. The shirt comes in four colors and in standard men's sizes from small to XXL. With four of these shirts in the different colors, you could spend a week on the road carrying only a small duffle bag. Bottom Line: If you want to look good, be comfortable on the road, and are limited by weight or bulk, the Mountain Hardwear Chisolm shirt was made for you.--E.C.
