Mephisto Cobra Sandal : Keep Your Feet Happy

I'm fussy when it comes to shoes. They have to fit just right - no rubbing, pinching, or chafing. Finding sandals I like is even more difficult because there are so many places a sandal can rub my delicate, sockless feet wrong. In Mephisto's Cobra sandal, I've finally found a safe place for my feet.

The Cobras have 100% rubber soles that provide excellent traction on wet and dry surfaces, plus a special "shock absorber" cushioning system in the heels. Unlike too many floppy sandals, the Cobras are stable and firm enough to wear on almost any adventure. I like the contoured leather footbed--it gives me the arch (and metatarsal arch) support I need. While it feels quite firm, it rests on a layer of dense cushioning material.

I like the design of the Cobra, too, because it gives me a little bit more protection than my other sandals. With more material, my foot feels cradled in the sandals, so I can walk for miles without my sandals feeling too sloppy on my feet.

There are two adjustable straps (including a padded heel strap), and the Cobra has a serious sole for all terrains.
