Mephisto Allrounder Blanka Shoe : Lightweight and Designed for Action

My feet have been so happy these last few weeks while I've been testing my purple suede Allrounder Blanka shoes.

They're stylish and light enough that I can wear them to work, and they're also substantial enough to wear on walks around town or for outdoor outings.

I have bunions on both feet so finding shoes that fit and feel right has always been difficult. Most shoes rub on the bunions and cause me pain almost instantly. Right out of the box my Blanka shoes conformed to the shapes of my feet and have not caused any problems.

It seems that this time of year all wooden porches and steps become a slip hazard here in the Northwest. The tread on these shoes is super grippy and provides me a secure footing on all sorts of surfaces. I like not having to worry if I will slip on the wet steps or the slick sidewalks. On lunchtime or evening walks the sturdy heel helps my feet feel secure and supported without feeling confining.

I like that the leather liner around the ankle is super soft. It doesn't irritate my skin when I wear low-cut socks or even go without socks. The Blanka shoes are lightweight, but also durable; they're made out of tough nubuck leather uppers, with rubber toe piece. The soles are designed for effectiveness on a variety of terrains. The nubuck is a breathable material, so that's good for long days on my feet - either inside or outside.

I've received so many compliments at work by other women who like how they look. The design is flattering with many different outfits.  I like that the rich color of the nubuck on my purple shoes doesn't scream "look at my feet," but rather blends in well with my dark clothes and gives me a fun alternative to my usual black and brown shoes.
