Horny Toad Vanquish Shirt : The New Plaid

My Horny Toad Vanquish shirt has converted me into a plaid type of guy, which is pretty hard thing to do to a photographer like myself who's hypersensitive about the colors of his shirts. But here it is: I love this thing!

From the first moment I put it on, I've been at home. It just fits - and I'm not just talking about its cut. It fits in the same way an old pair of jeans fits. Somehow, it's just right.

Every time I wear it, I smile. The shirt's details make me happy: every stitch is bomber, every panel is cut perfectly, and it's got a cool white contrasting fabric on the underside of the cuffs. It features a single chest pocket, which I actually use. Best of all, it's got this great message inscribed on an inside tag:

"dirty is the new clean

wear more wash less

wear it out or pass it on"

How cool is that? And it's true, too. I'll be wearing this plaid shirt when it's old, faded and thread-bare - and it's going to take a while to get to that point since the fabric seems sturdy.

Horny Toad's Vanquish button-up long-sleeved shirt is made out of a soft cotton-polyester blend. I feel good in this shirt knowing the cotton is organic and the polyester is all recycled. I also like the fact that it's winkle-resistant.

The Vanquish shirt has an athletic cut, which means it's not baggy like so many other plaids I've worn in the past. It's form-fitting and flattering, which I appreciate. It looks good, and it's super comfy to wear underneath warmer layers. The trim fit means less fabric to bunch up.

Last, but not least... I often wear my Vanquish shirt when I visit my new in-laws. It's got just the right blend of casual and cool to help me project calm and confidence.

The Vanquish is available in red, brown, tan, and a blue-green, in men's sizes from S to XXL. Horny Toad offers plaid button-up tops for women, but the materials and cuts are different.
