Ex Officio Men's Soy'r Sweater : Girlfriend Approved

I usually don't get too excited about sweaters, but ExOfficio's Soy'r Crew has become a staple of my wardrobe since I got it last month. It's the perfect blend of elegant and casual. I can wear it with khakis to important client meetings and with jeans for a night on the town with friends. Truly a go-anywhere, do-anything piece of clothing -- exactly the type of threads I like these days as I try to downsize.

I really like how the Soy'r feels when I put it on --soft, smooth, and warm. My skin is pretty sensitive, so normal wool sweaters make me pretty itchy. I could wear long sleeved shirts under them to get rid of itch, but that's way too much hassle for me. I like wearing my tops over whatever I want. Anyway, the Soy'r, made with an incredible blend of soy fabric, wool, Spandex and nylon, has the best of all worlds. It's got the warmth of wool but the silky smoothness of soy fabric, along with the stretchiness of Spandex. I really couldn't be happier with it.

I also must admit: I love the cut. The Soy'r looks good and feels good. It's not too baggy, not too tight, and has really cool contrast stitching on the inside of the collar. You think nobody cares about contrast stitching? Think again. That contrast stitching is like wearing crazy boxer shorts. Only you know it's there, and that little secret makes you feel so cool. Last, and most importantly,   when I'm wearing my Soy'r, my girlfriend can't stop commenting on my rugged handsomeness. That means I must be onto something good.

Aside from all this, the Soy'r is made of eco-friendly soy. It's easy to process, quick to grow, and a great renewable resource. I like supporting this kind of progressive thinking from companies.
