Dreamsacks Silk and Cashmere Tunic Dress : Simple and Sassy
It's not that I mind dressing up. It's that so many dress up clothes are uncomfortable. They're binding or they have too many buttons or they have belts, or worst of all, they have empire waists (which only look good on skinny women with tiny breasts). I just want to look good but feel like I'm still wearing t-shirt. My Dreamsacks Tunic Dress is exactly my kind of dress up garment. It's casual enough for many occasions, and dressy enough for many occasions. Made out of an 85 percent silk and 15 percent cashmere knit, this pullover dress is simple and elegant. I feel like I'm wearing a thin, cozy sweater. The dress hits mid-thigh and has 6" side slits on each side seam. That's where the tunic part comes in. When I'm feely not so showy and kind of doughy, I can pair up the dress with leggings or black body-hugging wool shorts for more modesty. When I'm slim and trim, it's a dress - nothing underneath but my comfy cotton undies. I like the straight, A-line-ish cut, the short collar, and the v-neck. I also like the sweet little button + hook enclosure around the necklace. I never button it, but the enclosure gives it a little bit of fancy. Another bonus about this dress - it runs a bit big! So I get to be a size M again rather than my usual L. Bottom Line: Ideal for daily wear, a night out, and for travel. No foof, no fuss, just another great little black dress in my collection.--E.D.
