Bridgedale Ventum Light Hiker Socks : Keep Cool

Over the years I've accumulated a drawer full of sports socks for hiking, walking, and skiing. Yet, every time I head out for a hike, I reach for the same socks, my Ventum LIght Hikers by Bridgedale.
I love the oatmeal/chocolate color combination of these socks and the left-right asymmetric design. Of course, I also prefer these socks over other hiking socks because they feel so great on my feet.
The key to comfort here is the extra dense padding Bridgedale has woven into hot spots, such as around the ankles and under the heels. I'm prone to tendonitis, so I appreciate any extra help I can get.
Made out of merino wool and a few synthetic materials, these socks do an amazing job of keeping my feet well-ventilated. Since wool is naturally odor-resistant, my feet stay fresh longer. I wore these socks all summer long, and plan to use them for fall hikes, too.
